The White Tail Bristletooth Tang, also called the Redspotted Tang, is a compact grazer easily identified by two dark spots near the base of its white tail and a bright yellow ring around each eye. Like other bristletooth tangs, it uses fine, flexible teeth to graze algae and detritus off rock and substrate, making it a useful addition to established reef tanks. Juveniles show a reddish body with orange striping that fades as they mature into their adult coloration.
