MagFloat Scraper Replacement Blades

The Mag-Float scraper blades are replacement/upgrade blades used with the **Mag-Float magnetic glass cleaners. They attach to the floating magnet side and let you switch from a soft algae pad to a hard scraper blade for tougher buildup.

What they’re used for

• The blade snaps onto the Mag-Float inner magnet
• You move the outer magnet outside the tank → the blade scrapes inside
• Floating design means the inner piece rises if it detaches

• Blade types you’ll usually see

• Plastic blade → safer for acrylic tanks (less scratching risk)
• Stainless steel blade → stronger, best for glass only (marine reef tanks)
• Some kits include replaceable edge inserts

• Important warnings

• Only use stainless blades on glass tanks, not acrylic

• Don’t trap sand between blade and glass (can scratch)

• Rinse after saltwater use to prevent corrosion buildup
