Montipora

Montipora are of the SPS (Small Polyp Stony) family and make up some of the easiest to keep in the group. They are typically encrusting or plating and have bright fluorescent zooxanthellae algae that light up any saltwater tank. They also prefer medium to high flow areas along with medium to high light in an aquarium.  Since SPS corals are known to be difficult to keep these are some entry level type SPS corals that a beginner may have early success in trying.
