WYSIWYG means the photo shown is the actual, individual coral specimen you'll receive — not a stock photo or a representative example of the species. That's the guarantee. What it doesn't guarantee is that the coral will look identical to the photo forever, or even the moment it arrives.
Why Coral Color Still Varies From the Photo
Coral coloration is heavily influenced by lighting spectrum and intensity, camera settings, and even photo editing — the same coral can look meaningfully different under different lights or in different shots. Color can also shift as a coral acclimates to your tank's specific lighting and water parameters. This is an honest, ongoing debate across the entire reefing community, not something unique to any one seller.
What to Actually Expect

- Color intensity may shift, usually within the first few weeks, as it adjusts to your lighting.
